Kizilgaha means”the red sentry”or “a red beak crow”in Uygur language.The tower is another important cultural site protected by the Autonomous Region.Located by the side of a higway only 1 kilometer from the Kizigaha Thousand Buddha Caves and 12 kilometers northwest of the Kuqa County.
This tower is the best-preserved war-signaling station in the Western Region and was built in the Western Han Dynasty.The base of the tower is flat and oblong,it is about 6 meters long and 4.5 meters wide.The main part is built with the rammed earth and a wooden post in the center.
