Day 1: Chengdu
Arrive Chengdu, the busling queen city of West China and capital city of Sichuan. This evening ,celebrate your arrival with a tea garden dinner. As an option, see wonderful
performance of Sichuan Opera.Overnight in Chengdu
Day 2: Lhasa
Fly to Tibet. Enjoy a scenic drive along the highest river--Yalungtsampo ( one and a half hours) to Lhasa. Stop for photos at the Nethang Stone Buddha. Arrive Lhasa. Check in the hotel for acclimatization. Overnight in Lhasa
Day 3: Lhasa
See Potala Palace , Jolkhang Temple, Barkhor Street .Marvel at the magnificent architectural complex of the Potala. Absorb the contemplative atmosphere of the
shrines of Jolkhang Temple. Enjoy the walking tour on the Barkhor Street Overnight in Lhasa
Day 4: Shigatse
Depart Lhasa for Shigatse via Gyantse. We‘ll stop at the Tibetan Holy Lake--Yamdrok Yumtso and photogrph the fascinating Karuola Glacier .Arrive Gyantse.Explore the
Palcho Monastery and Kumbun Stupa.Then continue the trip to Shigatse. Overnight at Shigatse
Day 5: Tingri
This morning we‘ll see See Tashilunpo monastery( Tashilunpo was built in 1447 by Ganden Drup.In the monastery is enshrined the biggest copper Buddha Statue ---Maitreya Buddha with 90 feet in height.).Then head for Tingri on a scenic drive. vernight in Tingri
Day 6: Tingri
Today we‘ll explore Mt.Everst Nature Reserve and the highest temple in the world,Rongpul. Also, enjoy our trekking to Everest Basecamp. Overnight in Tingri
Day 7: Tingri/Shigatse
Head back to Shigatse.See Sakya Monastery,the ancestoral temple of Sakya Sect.In Tibetan,Sa means"soil",Kya means"grey".Legend has it that rocks from nearby Bonpo Mountain were changed into grey soil due to weathering . Overnight in Shigatse
Day 8: Shigatse/Lhasa
Journey back to Lhasa.Leisure time for personal interests. Overnight in Lhasa
Day 9: Chengdu
Fly to Chengdu.See Chengdu Panda Eco-park with an opportunity for photos of cute pandas. Overnight in Chengdu
Day 10: Chengdu
Departure and exit
