Labuqiaoke,in Uygur language means “The Four Forts”.The city,60 kilometers southwest of the city proper,was garrisoned by some reclamation troops stationed here in the Han Dynasty.It became the seat of Nazhi County during the Tang Dynasty.The city is 440 meters long and 124 meters wide with several beacon towers and temples outside of it.The site is unexcavated and lies partly under cultivated fields and a graveyard.
