4-day Tour of Kashgar

Day1Kashgar

According to the flight timeto Kashgar,The guide will meet you at the airport and help you check into the hotel.

After that, our guide will show you around Kashgar‘s Old Town where you can see and feel Uygur culture. Then we will walk toId Kah Mosque, one of the largest mosques in China, presenting typical Islamic architectural features.
theAbakh Khoja Tombwhich onceserved for the Khoja Family, the powerful ruler of Kashgar in the 17th century. It is also the resting place for Emperor Qianlong‘s favored concubine - the Fragrant Concubine.

At last, you can dive into the bustlingKashgar bazaar(Sunday Market) to have a bargaining shopping experience and try some yummy local snacks.Ifhappenedon a Sunday, there will beanotheranimal trading market for locals to exchange livestock.

Day2 Kashgar - Karakuri Lake - Tashkorgan

Wewill take a leisure adventure tothe Pamir Plateau,On the waytoTashkorgan,wevisit the Karakuri Lake, literally meaning the ‘black sea‘. This huge alpine lake with an altitude of 3,600 meters (11,800 feet) reflects the mysterious and lofty Muztagata nearby. With the Muztagata covered by white snow and reflecting in the lake, you will be astonished by this breathtaking beauty ofpicture. After we will drivefurtherto TashkorganTajik populated county and check in.

Day3Tashkorgan - Kashgar

After breakfast,you can walk along the street to enjoy the unique tajik people’s lifestyle, then visit the stone city, which was the palace city of Puli Kingdom during Han Dynasty (202B.C.-220A.D.), one of the 36 kingdoms in west region;Taxkorgan, which means stone city inlocallanguage. It was the joint of both the middle route and south route of the ancient Silk Road.

Then we will go to visit the golden grassland nearby,thegolden grassland is full of cattle and sheep like pearls scattered from heaven.

After lunch,we willtake the same wayback to Kashgar.

Day4Departure from Kashgar

It is the last day of your trip. Our guide will transfer you to the airport for your departing flight. There are direct flights from Kashgar to some major cities in China, like Xian, Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu. You can also transit at Urumqi Airport to countries in Central Asia, such as Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. We hope you will have had a great time in Xinjiang!
